The Big Picture

* TreePeople - dedicated to restoring and maintaining the urban forest of Los Angeles.  Their calendar includes volunteer opportunities for tree plantins and tree maintenance around our city.
* Heal The Bay - Research, education, community action and advocacy to make Southern California coastal waters and watersheds, including Santa Monica Bay, safe, healthy and clean. Monthly beach cleanups.
* Friends of Ballona Wetlands - Interpretive Nature Tours of Ballona Freshwater Marsh (second and fourth Saturday of each month), Interpretive Nature Tours of Salt Marsh and Dunes (second Sunday of each month), Restoration Parties Ballona Dunes (fourth Saturday of the month).
* Ballona Stewards - Community Clean-up and Restoration of Ballona Northeast, the second Saturday of each month.
